Did you know... that we now have over 10,000 active registered users?Return to Did You Know Archive Added: 07/14/2014 A couple of days ago, we registered our TEN THOUSANDTH active registered user! Why do we say "active"? Because unlike every other auction site we know of, we distinguish between "active" users and those who bought from us in the past, but no longer do. We feel confident we have more active registered bidders than ANY other movie paper auction site, and that this group of 10,000 contains a high percentage of ALL the regular collectors there are all over the world, including just about every major collector! WHY do we make past buyers inactive? We do it when people have not bought from us in over a year, because we have found that such "dormant" accounts of the ones most likely to someday be "hijacked" and have "prank bidding" placed on it. So after someone has not bought from us for over a year, we make their account inactive (but they can always get it re-activated simply by requesting we do so). Many inactive buyers DO return (usually as soon as they see that we have something they have been looking for!). It is approaching the time when we will again make those who have not visited our site inactive. This will result in around 1,000 or so accounts becoming inactive, but it won't take all that long for us to then get back over 10,000 active registered users once again, because we add new bidders and buyers at SUCH a rapid pace!
